One year on and Val has taken a step back to concentrate on other things, so now Mandy is continuing with Genesis Cards alone, although you will still find some of Val's beautiful cards on the site. Genesis Cards was started by Mandy and Val, two friends who share a love of card making.

Genesis is the first book of the bible, opening with the words ‘In the beginning ... ' - as such, the name ‘Genesis’ has come to symbolise beginnings, and this web site was a new beginning for Mandy and Val. Genesis, in its biblical sense, also means ‘creation’, and card-making gives the opportunity to use creative skills to make beautiful cards that will bring pleasure to others.
